Guest post guidelines
Please take some time to review this entire section - it should answer any questions about what kind of content we’re looking for and how the submission process works. However, we do get a lot of requests, and we can’t accept them all! But these guidelines and recommendations could give you the best chance of success.
According to our content strategies, we accept guest content which makes up the following categories:
- eCommerce platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc.
- Social media: Tiktok, Instagram, Google Shopping or Facebook.
- Online store growth tips: dropshipping, POD, marketing tips & guides, advice for store owners.
The guiding light behind our blog is to share content that’s educational, engaging, and brings true values to our readers. Since the beginning, we’ve been focusing on establishing trust with the visitors instead of promoting our product. We believe that being overly self-promotional destroys that trust, while producing high-quality content is sustainable development.
Therefore, as a guest post contributor, kindly make sure that you focus mainly on showcasing your expertise to the readers. If people find your content valuable, they’ll probably turn into your future leads.
With that being said, here are some principles that you must follow:
- Article length: The ideal length should be from 1,500 - 3000 words, feel free to write more if necessary.
- Format: Use headings, subheadings, bulleted lists, and any other visual elements to increase the readability of your section and make it easy to read.
- Content quality: Must be original (above 80% uniqueness), actionable, organized, and accurate. The article has to be free of grammatical and spelling errors.
- Backlink: The maximum number is 10 links with 2 do-follow and 8 no-follow links. We’re open to further negotiations.
- Internal links: Link to onecommerce.io’s published articles where appropriate.
NOTE: OneCommerce reserves full editorial control and may edit or tweak submissions as we see fit. These tweaks include anything from removing too much self-promotion to optimizing for SEO, edits both small and large, and more.
- In the first place, we’ll agree on the topic and the title of the post. Please don’t start writing until we’ve seen eye to eye on this.
- Once the topic is finalized, please give us a specific deadline when you could submit the article for us to review.
