You should see the Bogus gateway listed as a payment option.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can use the following codes in the blank of the credit card number when checking out:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>1 &#8211; To Simulate an Approved Transaction<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>2 &#8211; To Simulate a Declined Transaction<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>3 &#8211; To Simulate a Gateway Failure<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, click the \u201c<\/span><b>Complete order<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d button.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Great job! You have successfully placed a Shopify test order.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Return to the Payment Providers tab and switch to a real payment provider once you&#8217;ve confirmed that order processing is running properly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Note<\/b><b>:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If you don\u2019t reach the thank you page, you\u2019ll need to contact the support team on Shopify to see why you cannot complete a test order.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Method #2: Use a real payment provider then immediately cancel and refund the order.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you want to test out the checkout process on your eCommerce site, the simplest way is to go through the process as a real customer. In other words, you will have to add items to your cart, proceed to checkout, and enter your payment information. Once you&#8217;ve completed the purchase, you can then cancel the order and request a refund.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To make this process even more convenient, you can create a discount that gives you 100% off your purchase.
